"If [a business has] some kind of extra capacity, of any sort, then looking at something like BizX... you can leverage that capacity and then not only be able to leverage that capacity in terms of your sales to the marketplace, but capture an additional value."

Kent Sessions of iFly SF Bay talks about the importance of leveraging excess capacity and how BizX helps him do it. iFLY is an indoor skydiving experience that creates true free fall conditions, just like skydiving, without having to jump out of an airplane. iFLY’s 1000 hp vertical wind tunnel generates a wall-to-wall cushion of air, on which you safely float. There’s no parachute, no jumping, and nothing attaching you to planet Earth. It’s just you and the air, and it’s the most incredible adrenaline rush.

TRANSCRIPT: My name is Kent Sessions. I’m the founder and CEO of iFly SF Bay. iFly is a vertical wind tunnel skydiving simulator. It’s a flight chamber that’s twelve feet in diameter that creates a free fall experience exactly identical to free-falling through space as though you’re skydiving. So many people have a dream of flying, so this really creates a way that young people three years old to ninety-three years old can experience real human body flight just like sky divers do, just like the military does, but in a really safe way.

We also do, of course, birthday parties and team building events. We have a conference space. We provide a meeting room with very professional equipment, lunch, and an indoor skydiving experience for ten people, about 20% less than the cost just for the room at a four-star hotel in the area. If you want your team to think out of the box, you have to take them out of the box. You get different ideas, you get different results.

I would talk to a new business owner about how to best leverage any additional capacity they have. If they have some kind of extra capacity, of any sort, then looking at something like BizX, where you can leverage that capacity and then not only be able to leverage that capacity in terms of your sales to the marketplace, but capture an additional value from that extra capacity to be able to do advertising and promotion or employee recognition programs, or whatever – finding ways to optimize around their business is a critically important thing. And especially for small businesses, it’s critically important to be able to survive that you can leverage everywhere you possibly can.

Great products and services, terrifically professional organization, I can’t say enough how happy I am.
