Diablo Magazine became a member of BizX in February of 2002. Through BizX, Diablo leverages unsold advertising space for printing, promotional products, equipment rental, awards, flowers and more. The advertising space that is sold for BizX would otherwise be given away, sold at a reduced price or filled with additional editorial content.
Holly Krassner, Marketing Director for Diablo, uses BizX to supplement marketing and promotions. “We work with very limited budgets, yet we are doing major events where we need lots of resources, from event companies, to printing, to flowers,” said Krassner. “Working with BizX has allowed us to augment the small budgets that we have to be able to do these great events. BizX allows us to do top notch things and to bring in services and products that we don’t necessarily have the budget for.”
Krassner said they use BizX more than any other exchange because of the wider variety of companies within the exchange.
“If you’re looking for ways to spend less money, this is a convenient and creative way to do it.”
DIABLO MAGAZINE extended the reach of their budget by selling unused ad space on BizX.
